Every marathon training plan will gradually increase throughout the 4-5 month of training to two final “peak weeks” of hard, long runs and most overall mileage. Depending on various factors your plan may have you peak anywhere from 40 miles to 120 weekly miles. More miles does not necessarily mean a faster time or better
